Date: Thursday 18 August 2022
Following an invitation from the British Chambers of Commerce (BCC) to partake in their Quarterly Economic Surveys (QES), going forward, this will be the primary source of research and data gathering from our members. You will all be very familiar with our business tracker survey’s (in particular during COVID), and this builds on these survey’s on a much wider scale, ensuring that future research gives us as much data and economic indicators as possible.
The BCC's Quarterly Economic Survey is the largest independent business survey in the UK and a significant economic indicator. These surveys feed into national research which is shared with the UK Government, Bank of England and national press and taking part in the BCC QES will ensure that our members are contributing to vital research and data which will be used to influence both national and local policy decisions.
So moving forward, we will be asking our members to participate in these quarterly survey’s with our first one launching today!
Click here to complete the survey. Deadline for completion is 15th September.
• The survey’s will include core questions received from the BCC that they feed into their national research
• We will bolt on local thematic questions
• Once the survey closes and the research has been analysed we will issue a report which will summarise the national research received from BCC and all local research
• National research and data will be shared with UK Government, Bank of England and press
• Local research and data will be shared with IoM Government and press
All data is treated as strictly confidential and will not be passed on to a third party.
