The draft Island Plan sets out Government’s strategy to build a ‘secure, vibrant and sustainable future’ over the next five years. It is due to be considered by Tynwald on January 18th. The Chamber event provides an opportunity to find out more about the draft plan, and for audience members to question the Ministers.

Chamber CEO Rebecca George thanked the key speakers for agreeing to attend, and Ravenscroft for sponsoring the event. She commented: “This is an excellent opportunity to hear first hand from the Chief Minister, Treasury Minister, Enterprise Minister about the plan and their own vision, reflections and objectives for the Island. We also expect to hear the latest news about the outcomes of the initial phases of the Isle of Man’s Economic Strategy, and the next steps towards ensuring that the Isle of Man continues to have a strong and sustainable economy. We expect this event to be very popular so we are advising everyone to book their tickets ASAP to avoid disappointment.”

Will Corrin, Director of Ravenscroft in the Isle of Man, commented: “We had no hesitation in agreeing to sponsor this event which is one of the highlights of the 2022 business calendar. Covid has changed the world, how we live, how we work and how we travel has all been affected and this is set against an ever-present backdrop of reducing our impact on the planet for the benefit of future generations. We look forward to an engaging and lively debate about how we can build a secure, vibrant and sustainable future for the Isle of Man.”

Chamber will provide a Slido link so that questions can be submitted in advance of the event.
