The Chief, Treasury and Enterprise Ministers will reflect on the challenges of the past 12 months at a Chamber of Commerce business breakfast briefing next month, sponsored by Appleby.

Date: Monday 22 February 2021

MHKs Howard Quayle, Alf Cannan and Laurence Skelly will be speaking at the Comis Hotel on Wednesday March 3rd from 8am to 10am at the ‘Three Ministers’ event which is open to Chamber members and non-members. Click here to book tickets and find more information, or go to

Chamber CEO Rebecca George thanked the Ministers for agreeing to attend, and Appleby for sponsoring the event. She added: “Chamber is delighted to welcome three very distinguished guests whose leadership has steered the Island through a time of unique challenges. This event is an ideal opportunity to gain an insight into how they responded to the impact of the pandemic, gather their thoughts on the next

phase, and plans for economic recovery. With change comes challenge, but it also creates opportunities. Chamber members will be particularly keen to hear about plans for the tourism and visitor economy sector, and the advantages that the Island has as a desirable place to live and work. Businesses in all sectors of the economy will also be interested to hear about the prospects of reducing travel restrictions within the Government’s Borders Framework. We’re expecting this to be a very popular event, so we advise everyone who wants to attend to book their tickets ASAP in order to avoid disappointment.”

Following speeches by all three Ministers, there will be a question and answer session.
