Tell us about your business?
Manx FX was established in 2014 and is a wholly owned subsidiary of Manx Financial Group PLC, who are listed on the London Stock Exchange, AIM. Manx FX is a sister company to Conister Bank and Edgewater Associates, and shares the same commitment to the Island’s business community.
We support Manx businesses in managing their currency requirements by offering access to, via our FX partners, very competitive foreign exchange rates, with online functionality, that allows trades and payment from one simple login. We understand local businesses and individuals value someone they know and trust, and who understands the local market. Within the team, we have over 100 years’ experience in the foreign exchange industry.
What services do you offer?
Through our partners, we can facilitate a range of banking, foreign exchange and international payments tools, as well as offering hedging strategies to help businesses manage their foreign exchange exposure for up to 3 years. If your business makes frequent foreign currency transactions and payments to multiple beneficiaries overseas, we are perfectly placed to assist.
Having a team on-Island means that we can build a strong relationship and really understand a business’s requirements and help them to manage their FX strategy accordingly.
Do you have any events coming up or current projects you can share with us?
We are always keen to support local events and later this year we are a sponsor for the STEP 2021 virtual conference. We are also planning to hold some informal sessions to support local businesses with their FX strategies.
Our newly revamped website goes live soon too, so keep an eye out for that.
What are your plans and goals for the future?
To continue to diversify and grow in multiple sectors and to help other IOM companies do the same.
