Tell us about your business?
Ravenscroft is an independently owned investment services group which has £7.75bn of assets under administration for both private clients and institutional clients from around the world.
We have offices in Guernsey, Jersey, the Isle of Man and the UK and employ more than 130 staff.
We pride ourselves on getting to know our clients and forging genuine relationships with them so we are able to create value for them in the long term. Our reputation is built on exceptional customer service, integrity and accountability.
What services do you offer?
The group’s services include execution only trading, advisory investment services, discretionary investment management, market making, corporate finance services, cash management and the dealing in and storage of gold, silver, platinum and palladium. We tailor portfolios depending on our clients’ aims, objectives, knowledge and experience.
Do you have any events coming up or current projects you can share with us?
Ravenscroft’s office in Isle of Man opened in August 2020 following the acquisition of WH Ireland in the island. Since then we have enjoyed reconnecting with many of our business contacts and meeting our clients to update them and let them know more about Ravenscroft and its services. It’s a fantastic company with a real entrepreneurial spirit and we are working closely with our colleagues to increase the range of services we can offer on island. We also hope that travel restrictions will allow some of our colleagues to come up to the Isle of Man so that we can celebrate our first birthday.
Santa's little helpers workshop is one of the many community initiatives that Ravenscroft sponsor.
We have also been busy within the community and that for us is equally as important as the services we offer. It’s a core part of Ravenscroft’s ethos and in our first year we have sponsored the Chamber of Commerce’s Christmas and summer drinks, Santa’s Little Helpers toy collection with 3FM, Manx Breast Cancer Support’s champagne train, the Isle of Man Rugby’s summer programme and Cric Start, an amazing Isle of Man Cricket initiative to encourage young player aged from three to 12 to start playing and develop their cricketing skills.
What are your plans and goals for the future?
Locally, we certainly want to grow our presence in the Isle of Man. We are planning to increase the range of investment services so that we can help more islanders meet their investment objectives and we certainly hope to grow the team.
We also hope that we can welcome more of our colleagues to the island and visit Ravenscroft’s other offices as there is a real team spirit amongst the jurisdictions.
As a group, Ravenscroft has seen significant growth in recent years and there is no sign of that slowing. It’s an exciting time for us here in the Isle of Man and the group as whole.
Where are you based and how can people contact you?
We are based in St George’s Tower in Hope Street and we are always happy to meet existing and prospective clients, whether in the office or in their homes. Our office number is 01624 60 20 20 or you can email us at iom@ravenscroftgroyup.com
You can find out more about the company at www.ravenscroftgroup.com and follow us on Twitter, Facebook, Instagram and Linkedin.
Finally, why is Chamber membership so important to you?
Chamber brings together a diverse mix of companies who represent the dynamic business community in the Isle of Man. It provides great opportunities to network, socialise, share ideas and learn. It’s also important for us to recognise the work Chamber does on behalf of the local business community; the guidance and support they have provided over the years, particularly over to small businesses, has been tremendous.
