A few months ago Chamber was asked by the Department for Enterprise for ideas for key worker housing.
The result is a key piece of work that some of our Think Tank Group members have developed along with the assistance of Chamber Board member, Carol Glover. The document sets out ideas around housing for key workers, affordable homes for local young people and downsizing options for those aging with larger properties. It also includes new ideas and areas for further research.
The document has been shared with the Department for Enterprise, Ministers and the Housing & Communities Board and the core Chamber Team delivered a full presentation to the Department recently and who are now considering a number of the ideas further.
