Manx Solidarity Fund

Our amazing Chamber member, Paul Hotchkiss, is spokesperson for the Manx Solidarity fund, a newly registered charity that has been set up to offer financial support to those most affected by the Covid 19 Pandemic. The fund has also aligned itself with , formally known as Isle of Man Coronavirus Community Support (IOMCCS) to offer hands on assistance such as dog-walking and shopping, to the provision of remote business services.

Applications open from the Manx Solidarity Fund for PPE support for non-essential retail

It has been identified that many retailers are keen to reopen but may struggle financially with the initial outlay on key health and safety equipment such as sneeze screens, signage, floor markings and other PPE to protect their staff and customers.
It has therefore been agreed with the trustees of the Manx Solidarity Fund charity that businesses with a real financial need may be eligible to apply for one off financial assistance from the fund to help pay for the initial outlay on necessary equipment to get businesses back open and thus securing the jobs and the safety of employees.

All applications will be individually assessed by the trustees of the fund. To apply please visit the MSF website and it is recommended that you also read all of of the FAQ’s to familiarise yourself with the process and criteria before starting your application.

We would like to thank the Manx Solidarity Fund for their kind charitable support to those in need on the Isle of Man during these very challenging times.
