Climate Change Workshop

Ahead of Government’s 5-year Climate Change Plan which is currently in development and going to consultation over the summer, the IoM Chamber of Commerce Climate Change working group are hosting a cross public / private sector workshop, in partnership with DEFA, bringing together members of the Chamber of Commerce with the Government Climate Change Transformation Team to discuss and analyse the proposed 5-year Plan.

This workshop will start to look into ways in which industry and Government can come up with longer term aspirations and set collaborative targets mapped against the key areas in the 5-year plan and longer-term pathways to 2050.

08:00-08:30 Arrival and breakfast

08:30-09:00 Introduction and general overview on current work, understanding on Island off-setting – Dr Fiona Gell, Head of Research & Development and Aly Lewin, Head of Programme Delivery, Climate Change Transformation Team

09:00-09:40 Facilitated group discussions across the following key themes:

09:40-10:30 Facilitators to give overview of group discussions, followed by Q&A
