DPO Forum event | Surveillance Cameras and Data Protection Legislation

The Information Commissioner will provide a short presentation that explains when surveillance cameras must comply with data protection legislation and what that means to a controller. In doing so the Commissioner will refer to guidelines recently adopted by European Data Protection Board and the decision of the Court of Justice of the European Union in the “Rynes” case which considered what is meant by a purely personal or household activity with regard to CCTV systems.

This is a hybrid event with online or in-person attendance.  A light breakfast will be served for those who attend in-person.
