Amber Gaming Cheque Presentation
Many of Amber Gaming’s clients, industry peers and friends got together for an afternoon of friendly competition with 72 players taking part on the day. Mayfly Entertainment Limited took home the winner’s trophy in 1st place, Digital Gaming Corporation in 2nd place and Continent 8 Technologies coming in 3rd place. Local Island professional golfer, Tom Gandy also attended on the day playing a friendly game of ‘Beat the Pro’.
Dee Copley, Director at Victim Support IOM said, “We are so grateful to the team at Amber Gaming for all their hard work organising the Golf Day and for choosing Victim Support IOM as their chosen charity for the event. £11,000 is a fantastic amount raised and we would like to thank everyone who entered a team and donated on the day. The charity relies on fundraising and donations to fund a large proportion of the charity’s running cost each year so we really appreciate this generous donation, which will allow us to continue supporting victims and witnesses of crime and domestic abuse on the Island”

The charity has been busier than ever with on average, one new client referral per working day, as well as supporting existing clients. In 2021 the charity had 269 new referrals, 11% increase from the previous year.
