Most of you will be aware that long before the recent Eco-System review highlighted the difficulties in Banking, issues surrounding the opening of corporate accounts were already extensive and clearly needed addressing.  Chamber have endeavored to elevate some of these issues by working alongside both local industry and government stakeholders.

We are currently undertaking work with local banks in asking them to produce an ‘easy read guide’ that offers transparency and clarity when opening an account and to this end we are delighted to share with you a document that Lloyds Bank have produced which outlines the initial process in opening a corporate account and is transparent in highlighting the different information/ documents required whether you’re a LTD company or sole trader.

We continue to work with our other member banks in producing similar documents.
