Professor Curran was asked to produce a report for the Council of Ministers, after the Isle of Man Government recognised a climate change emergency and following the Tynwald motion that committed to bring forward a Climate Change Bill and action plan which would see the current and future administrations tackling the effects of climate change in line with the recommendations of the United Nations’ Inter-governmental Panel on Climate Change.
