Chamber launches Christmas gift appeal to help Island charities | Nov 2024

22 November 2024

Every year Isle of Man Chamber of Commerce members support good causes at the heart of the community by donating gifts. This year the appeal will help A Little Piece of Hope, Live At Home, Southern Befrienders and St Christopher’s.

Chamber CEO Rebecca George commented: “We are delighted to extend our support to brilliant local charities that contribute so much to communities across the Island. We are always amazed by the incredible generosity of our members, and their support has helped the Christmas appeal to reach more and more people year after year. For this Christmas we have chosen charities that reach a wide range of age groups and we’re urging businesses to get their teams involved and embrace the Christmas spirit by supporting those in need.”

Anyone who wishes to support the appeal is asked to leave gifts under the Christmas tree on the ground floor in the reception area of Hillary House, Prospect Hill, Douglas (where the Chamber of Commerce has its HQ) no later than 5pm Monday December 16th. Gifts can be left during normal office hours, 8.30am to 6pm Monday to Friday.

When you drop off your gifts, please consider taking a photo and sharing it on social media and tagging in Chamber’s social media accounts. Here are Chamber’s Facebook, LinkedIn and X links.
