Capital International has announced the appointment of Philip Penrose as the new Head of Business Development – Isle of Man. Philip brings extensive experience in driving commercial growth, leading high performing teams, and building strategic partnerships across the financial services industry. Well known in the local market, Philip has held several senior commercial roles and most recently served as the Head of the Isle of Man office of Brooks Macdonald, prior to its acquisition by Canaccord Genuity.

Philip Penrose commented:
‘I am very pleased to join Capital International at such a pivotal moment in the company’s growth. The collaboration between our banking and asset management business development teams represents a significant opportunity to deliver a more seamless, connected, and client focused experience.’

“We are delighted to welcome Philip to Capital International,” said Werner Alberts, Managing Director of Capital International Bank. “His depth of industry knowledge, combined with a proven track record in building and leading successful commercial teams, will be invaluable as we continue to scale our services.”

Antony Kelsey, Head of Asset Management, added:
“Philip brings a fresh perspective on how we engage with clients and partners, and his strategic insight will support our ambition to strengthen our presence across key markets. We are confident that his leadership will play a pivotal role in shaping the next phase of our growth.”
