Isle of Man Energy launches green gas matching program

Isle of Man Energy has launched its 4Gen Gas Carbon Reduction Program. The initiative
focuses on replacing fossil fuels within the network with certified green gas, rather than
relying on offsetting.
The 4Gen Gas customers can actively reduce their carbon footprint by adding it to their
existing gas plan. Their bills will clearly show how much carbon they’re helping to
reduce by opting-in.
4Gen Gas is the fourth generation of gas in Isle of Man Energy’s nearly 200-year history.
This milestone reflects the company’s commitment to innovation and sustainability,
moving from traditional fuels to renewable alternatives that support the Isle of Man’s
journey toward net zero by 2050
Graeme Millar, Chief Executive Officer at Islands Energy Group, said: “Our 4Gen Gas
Carbon Reduction Program gives customers a practical way to take action for a
sustainable future. By reducing fossil fuels within the network, we’re offering a simple,
