JT GROUP AND CVC DIF FORM STRATEGIC PARTNERSHIP TO ACQUIRE MANX TELECOM GROUP – STRENGTHENING THE ISLE OF MAN’S DIGITAL FUTURE

Manx Telecom Group, the Isle of Man’s leading communications and digital infrastructure provider, and JT Group are merging to create a stronger, future-ready business following the signing of a definitive acquisition agreement. The transaction is supported by CVC DIF, the infrastructure strategy of global private markets manager CVC, and is subject to customary regulatory approvals.  

This strategic acquisition brings together two trusted operators with strong local foundations and expanding international reach. The combined group will serve customers in the Isle of Man, Jersey, Guernsey and across the globe. 

The partnership will create the largest full-service telecoms provider across the Crown Dependencies, with a shared commitment to continue investing in resilient and secure, next-generation digital networks, including fibre, IoT platforms, 5G and managed services to support customers’ use of those networks. CVC DIF’s investment brings additional capital and sector expertise to support long-term growth.
