Prioritisation of the Electronic Transactions (Amendment) Bill
01 December 2025
The Isle of Man Chamber of Commerce wrote to Ministers on 21 November regarding the Electronic Transactions (Amendment) Bill.
In our letter, we outline why this Bill should be prioritised within the current legislative programme. Without timely progress, the Island risks falling behind comparable jurisdictions, creating uncertainty for businesses and undermining growth in our digital economy. Our members have expressed strong concerns about the implications for legal clarity, competitiveness, and future innovation.
