This exciting game will help you understand how well-meaning users can become victims of phishing attacks and the potential consequences. You will also learn about effective response strategies in the event of a successful attack and how to recover critical business data from backups.

About the Speakers:
Peter O'Donnell
Director of Commercial & Professional Risks (IOM)
Peter leads the Professional Risks division in the Isle of Man. He has worked in the insurance industry with global underwriters for over 25 years and has specialised in broking for over a decade. He joined James Hallam in March 2024 to lead and expand the Professional Risks offering in the Isle of Man where he is a well-known and trusted professional
Stephen King Dip CII
Stephen started his career as a Commercial Underwriter at General Accident (now Aviva) in 1988 and moved into broking with a regional firm a few years later.
His Financial Lines interest/specialism really started when he moved to a global broker in the late 1990s and he can still recall having his first cyber risk discussion with a publishing client in 1999 when we were all worried about the Millenium Bug.
Fast forward to 2019 and Stephen joined James Hallam to help with a new acquisition in his home county of Devon.
Realising the need to become far more proactive in advising clients about cyber risk, in 2023 James Hallam took the step of forming a dedicated Cyber Division to assist client executives around the UK.
Stephen leads the Cyber Division and the team conduct all market negotiations and meet face-to-face with clients to explain the huge benefits a well-designed cyber policy offers.
