Bringing Back the Tradition of Christmas Cards!

Let’s make this Christmas a little more creative and put the Island’s talent on our Christmas card!

Motiv8 Addiction Services is inviting everyone across the Island to get creative and enter our 2026 Christmas Card Design Competition. Whether you are a budding artist, a keen hobbyist or someone who simply loves getting creative, or have a really good photo on your camera roll that shows what Christmas, Hope and Community mean to you, we would love to see your festive ideas!

We are looking for an original design that captures the spirit of Christmas, celebrates kindness and hope and reflects the positive difference we can make when we support one another. The winning design will feature on Motiv8’s Christmas card for 2026!

Motiv8 has been supporting individuals and families impacted by alcohol, drugs, gambling and gaming on the Isle of Man since 1978. This competition is a fun way for our community to get involved with a local charity and help us spread a message of hope and positive change.

How can the business community help?

We would love the Isle of Man Chamber of Commerce business community to help spread the word by sharing the competition with colleagues, customers, families and wider networks. With entries welcome from all ages, everyone can take part!

Chamber members can also pre order physical cards or digital e-card option by emailing Nicola at Motiv8 on nicola.browne@motiv8.im,  there will be the option to have your company logo inserted into e-cards and to order a print run of the physical card with your logo on.

In a world where we increasingly send messages digitally, we believe there is still something special about receiving a Christmas card through the letterbox. A physical card is a simple but meaningful way to let someone know you are thinking of them, sharing a little kindness and spreading hope at Christmas.

Motiv8 launched its first Christmas card last year and the response was fantastic, with cards selling out in two weeks. Following that success, we are excited to bring the initiative back for 2026 and giving our community the opportunity to help create something special while supporting a local charity.

Every card is an opportunity to spread a little hope, start a conversation, reminding someone that they matter whilst quietly raising funds for the charity. By inviting the Island to design this year’s card, we hope to celebrate local creativity while continuing a tradition that brings people together and supports Motiv8’s work with individuals and families.

Entries are open until the 6th of November2026 and entries can be sent to contact@motiv8.im, posted or dropped in to Motiv8 at 90-92a Woodbourne Road, Douglas, IM2 3AS.
