Election 2026

The Isle of Man General Election takes place on 24 September 2026, and we believe this is a pivotal moment for our Island's future.

The Isle of Man economy contracted by an estimated 7.4% in the two years to March 2024, one of the most severe downturns the Island has experienced in living memory. Around 1,000 jobs have been lost from key sectors including financial services, e-gaming, manufacturing and tourism, and without urgent action to restore growth, the Island risks a cycle of declining opportunity and rising pressure on public services.

This is not just a business issue. A strong economy supports jobs, personal earnings, and pays for the healthcare and public services we all depend upon. Chamber is calling on all election candidates to set out clearly what they will do to restore growth, and on voters to demand answers.

This page will be your hub for election resources, candidate information, key policy questions, and Chamber's research and positions, updated regularly as the campaign progresses.
