JT Group and CVC DIF complete acquisition of Manx Telecom following final regulatory approval – Strengthening the Isle of Man’s Digital Future

Manx Telecom and JT Group, together with their strategic partner CVC DIF, are pleased to confirm that following all required regulatory approvals, the acquisition was formally completed on Friday 15th May.

This completion signals the beginning of an exciting new chapter for Manx Telecom and the Isle of Man’s digital future. The combination brings together two operators rooted in their local communities, supported by the sector expertise and long‑term investment strength of CVC DIF.

The partnership will create the largest full-service telecoms provider across the Crown Dependencies, with a shared commitment to continue investing in resilient and secure, next-generation digital networks, including fibre, IoT platforms, 5G and managed services to support customers’ use of those networks. CVC DIF’s investment brings additional capital and sector expertise to support long-term growth.
