Manx Wildlife Trust (MWT) are seeking a highly skilled and motivated administrator to join our friendly team. Your key functions will be to coordinate the day to day running of our office in Peel, and deliver a range of administration functions in an efficient and effective way. This is a key role in terms of supporting the MWT team in delivering our mission to ‘protect and enhance our environment, create more spaces for wildlife, and inspire people to act for nature.’

MWT are the largest conservation charity in the Isle of Man. We are a team of passionate, environmentally minded, dynamic, and supportive people. This is a great opportunity to join our team and lead our administration at an exciting time for MWT, where we are experiencing increasing importance, reach and impact for the charity and our environmental work.

We are seeking a personable, highly organised, and competent individual, with exemplary communication, IT, and administration skills.  The ideal candidate will be able to use their own initiative, work independently, organise tasks, and be a key part of our MWT team. This could be a full-time (37.5 hours/week) post, but we also welcome applications from potential part-time applicants (we require a minimum of 20 hours/week). For example, the role could fit around school hours with some additional home/flexible working. The role might well suit an individual currently working in the fiduciary or professional services sector, looking for a change of working environment.

In addition to your salary, you will receive a 5% pension contribution, and are entitled to 25 days annual leave, plus IOM Bank Holidays and 3 additional days at Christmas when our office is closed (38 days in total per year). We operate a staff appraisal and development scheme.
