Ørsted returns as Headline Sponsors for Bushy's TT Village 2024 | May 2024
02 May 2024
Bushy’s TT Village is set to return to the Villa Marina Gardens on Douglas Promenade. Last year, the site attracted over 90,000 people over a busy 10-day period. Numbers are expected to rise in 2024, when the doors will be open from 5pm 30th May, and then daily at 12 noon until midnight running through until 8th June.
Year on year, event organisers successfully create the perfect place to relax and soak up the buzzing TT atmosphere. The variety of live entertainment performed on the Ørsted stage, by some of the best local bands every night, is also a big draw.
Ørsted is proposing the Isle of Man’s first offshore wind farm – the Mooir Vannin project – which will help the island achieve its ambitious renewable energy, net zero, and economic growth targets.
John Galloway, Development Director for Ørsted in the Isle of Man, said: ‘We are delighted to return this year as the headline sponsors for Bushy’s TT Village 2024. As one of the top events during the TT period, it was an easy decision for Ørsted to continue our support for the team behind the scenes – who are promising to build on last year’s success to make it a celebration on the Island like never before. We are excited to share in the experience of live local bands and artists, retailers and vendors for 10 days right in the heart of Douglas.”
Key Bar Events Ltd has confirmed an exciting lineup for this year's festival, including four bars, nightly live music performances, food outlets and retailers. They place an emphasis on the importance of supporting local enterprises.
David Wookey and Harry Barbour, the Directors of Key Bar Events, said: "It is wonderful to be working with Ørsted again. We are very proud to be connected to such a forward-thinking organisation, whose activities could have such a positive impact on our Island.
"We invite everyone, locals and visitors, to join us for ten days of celebration, music, and camaraderie at the Bushy's TT Festival. Thanks to Ørsted, this year promises to be bigger and better than ever before, and we can't wait to welcome visitors from around the world to experience the magic of the Isle of Man."
Further details on the full entertainment schedule, food vendors, and additional attractions will be revealed in the coming weeks.
