Tickets Now Live as the Countdown Begins to the Cherry Godfrey Cup 2026

With just 30 days to go until kick-off, organisers of the Cherry Godfrey Cup have today announced that tickets are now officially on sale for the 2026 tournament taking place at Victoria Park, Guernsey on 26–27 June 2026.

Following the incredible success of the inaugural tournament in Jersey in 2024, the Cherry Godfrey Cup returns this summer bigger and bolder, bringing together women’s representative teams from Guernsey, Jersey, the Isle of Man and the Isle of Wight for two unforgettable days of football, island rivalry and celebration.

Created to champion women’s sport and inspire the next generation of players, the biennial tournament has quickly become one of the standout events in the island sporting calendar. This year we will see the four proud island teams battle it out under the lights at Guernsey’s Victoria Park.

David Cherry, Chief Executive Officer at Cherry Godfrey, said: “The response to the inaugural Cherry Godfrey Cup in 2024 was incredible and we’re so excited to now be just 30 days away from bringing the tournament to Guernsey.

“The standard of football, the atmosphere in the stands and the support from the islands was amazing last time around and we know this year is going to be even bigger. We’d encourage everyone to come along, support their island and be part of a fantastic weekend celebrating women’s football.”

Gary Roberts, Chief Executive of the Guernsey FA, added: “We’re incredibly proud to be hosting the Cherry Godfrey Cup at Victoria Park this summer. The tournament is a brilliant showcase for women’s football and an exciting opportunity for the island to welcome supporters and teams from across the islands. We’re looking forward to creating a fantastic atmosphere across the weekend and encouraging the whole community to get behind the event.”

The 2024 tournament delivered dramatic fixtures and a thrilling penalty shootout final, with the Isle of Man lifting the inaugural trophy. Now all eyes turn to Guernsey as the four islands prepare to meet once again in pursuit of the Cherry Godfrey Cup.

The tournament schedule includes two semi-finals on Friday evening, followed by the 3rd place playoff and the grand final on Saturday, before the trophy presentation and after-match celebrations.

Organisers are encouraging islanders, football supporters, families and businesses to secure their tickets early and help create a packed-out Victoria Park for what promises to be a memorable weekend of women’s sport.
