Wellness Festival, Charity Village and Guinness World Record Attempt for the Largest Pilates Class
The Isle of Man is set to host an ambitious world record attempt alongside a vibrant Wellness Festival and Charity Village at Knockaloe, bringing together community, wellbeing, heritage and charity in a unique celebration.
Organised by Ramsey Crookall in collaboration with 34Moves and Visit Isle of Man, the event will aim to break the current world record for the largest Pilates class, with more than 3,486 participants needed to set a new benchmark. The attempt will take place at Knockaloe, a site of special significance in Pilates history, where Joseph Pilates began developing the principles of his method during the First World War.
Open to all ages and abilities, the event is designed to be inclusive and welcoming, whether participants are experienced practitioners or complete beginners. Leading Pilates instructors from around the world will guide the record breaking class, creating a global homecoming for the Pilates community.
Alongside the world record attempt, visitors can enjoy a full day of activities at the Wellness Festival and Charity Village. The festival will feature wellness brands, practitioners, workshops, guest speakers, food and drink vendors, children's entertainment, fitness and wellbeing experiences, and a wide range of local charities and community organisations.
The event will also showcase the Isle of Man's unique UNESCO Biosphere status, celebrating the Island's culture, community spirit, local businesses and commitment to wellbeing and sustainable living.
This landmark event aims not only to set a new world record but also to establish the Isle of Man as a leading destination for wellness tourism, movement culture and meaningful community connection.
