The 2026 Election Task Force has been established to deliver Chamber’s 2026 General Election Roadmap.
The group will take a professional, impartial, and evidence-based approach to gathering member insight, shaping business priorities, and facilitating open engagement with election candidates ahead of the General Election.
Core Objectives
- Deliver Chamber's 2026 Election Roadmap in full.
- Coordinate survey design, analysis, and publication of findings.
- Develop balanced candidate questions and manage public Q&A sessions.
- Maintain transparent, equal access for all candidates.
- Coordinate communications and media activity before, during, and after the election.
- Produce a post-election briefing linking member priorities to the new government term.
Key Principles
- Non-partisan: Chamber will not endorse, host private meetings with, or favour any candidate or party.
- Equal access: All candidates will receive the same invitation and question set.
- Transparency: All events and materials will be open and recorded where possible.
- Evidence-based: Positions and questions will be grounded in data and member feedback.
